Priligy is one of the most effective drugs used to prolong sexual intercourse. The result is already noticeable from the first pill. The active substance of the drug (dapoxetine) helps to delay ejaculation and prolong sexual intercourse.

How does it work?

The active ingredient of this drug provides the following changes in the body of men:

  • inhibits abnormal activity in the cerebral cortex;
  • has a mild, calming effect;
  • increases the release of testosterone in the blood (gives confidence);
  • relieves nervous tension and normalizes the work of the nervous system;
  • stimulates the production of endorphin (gives a high mood).

Auxiliary substances of the drug enhance the pleasant sensations during sexual intercourse.

Indications for use

Priligy eliminates undesirable clinical manifestations of sexual pathologies such as:

  • early ejaculation occurring before penetration or within the first minute after the start of intimacy;
  • inadequate erection, in which a man cannot perform sexual intercourse. The pathological condition is characterized by partial swelling of the cavernous body, lack of elasticity and firmness of the penis during sexual arousal;
  • difficulty achieving an erection associated with a slow increase in the rigidity of the male penis.

How to take Priligy?

Take 1 tablet 30-45 minutes before sexual intercourse, with a small amount of water, without chewing it. The effect of dapoxetine will persist for 4-6 hours. You should not take 2 tablets at the same time with the aim of increasing efficiency – you cannot take more than 2 tablets per day, as this can lead to serious health problems. The optimal regularity of the drug is 2-3 times a week.

Side effects

In rare case, the drug can cause the following side effects:

  • increase in blood pressure;
  • tachycardia;
  • shortness of breath;
  • nausea;
  • headache;
  • weakening of visual reactions;
  • allergic skin rash.

If you are experiencing a side effect of the drug, you should stop taking it. After 6-8 hours, dapoxetine is completely excreted from the body. In case of overdose, you can experience vomiting, irritability, panic attacks and pains in the right hypochondrium.

You should not take Priligy if you have any of the following conditions/diseases:

  • severe heart disease;
  • moderate and severe liver dysfunction;
  • severe renal impairment;
  • a history of established or suspected orthostatic hypotension;
  • a history of mania/hypomania or bipolar disorder;
  • children and teenagers under 18 years;
